Let’s start with the question that everyone asks. Which CRM is the best? In the end, it is the one that you will use day in and day out. beyond that, it’s really about what you have the budget for and what it will give to you. I have worked with several CRMs, and they all promise a lot, but they don’t always deliver.

CRMs are improving rapidly. The expensive ones are using artificial intelligence, behavioral triggers, and other high-level software. This is such a personal thing it is very hard to say which one is best. Go to our tools page to see some of the CRMs that are out there.

Of course, having a CRM is not mandatory. There are some agents who are still using spreadsheets note cards and other low tech methods. What it comes down to is what systematization will you be able to do.

If you are not systematic in your approach you are going to miss out on a lot of opportunities. Billions of dollars have been missed by agents because they wrote a lead’s name on a scrap piece of paper and then lost it or they did not make good notes or did not have a reminder to call someone when they said to call them. 

Fortune is in the follow-up. Get it right and get it systematized.

Exercise: Review your method to stay in touch with your clients. Is it adequate, is there a system and are you using it? Write down the answers. It’s easy to blow this off if you just glance at it.
